Rigorous Background Checks on Personnel
It may come as a surprise to you that most oil companies don't carefully screen their new hires. Because background checks are expensive very few companies are willing to spend the money. Our family company has always strived to hire professional and qualified field staff for our team. As an added layer of security all service technicians and oil drivers we hire are required to pass both skill and aptitude tests. We then run thorough credit, driving and reference checks. Only after we are sure the employee is trustworthy do we send them to a customer's home.
Insurance Coverage
Since September 11, insurance rates have skyrocketed for companies involved in the distribution of petroleum. While many local oil companies carry only the minimum insurance, Klebe Fuel Company carries over $2 million of insurance, covering pollution liability and all service related work. If an accident happens, you can be assured your property is financially protected.

A newer oil truck is a safer oil truck - it's that simple. Just like your vehicle, as oil trucks age, more components are likely to break. We know that some of these components, when broken, can cause leaks or property damage. Before leaving our yard, our drivers perform a daily Pre-Trip inspection of every vehicle to ensure that all equipment is in safe, working order.
